U2 Announce 2027 European Stadium Dates With Wolf Alice
U2 have announced the UK and European leg of their 2027 stadium tour, "The Greatest Show On Earth", with Wolf Alice supporting at every date.
London gets two nights, on 18 and 19 June at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The run begins in Stockholm on 26 and 28 April and also takes in Paris, Lisbon, Amsterdam, Berlin and Milan. Berlin is on 30 June. The Milan shows at San Siro, on 5 and 6 July, close the dates announced so far.
Dates in Ireland, Spain and North America are promised "soon". Guitarist The Edge said the band could not say much about the next leg because they were "still figuring it out". He did say it will wrap up in Ireland. "There's nowhere else we'd want to be for that party," he said.
Tickets and Latin America
Tickets for the UK and European dates go first to the U2.com Subscriber Presale, which opens at 10am on Monday 2 November.
The band earlier announced shows in South America, with Beck in support. Extra nights have now been added in Mexico City, Sao Paulo and Buenos Aires "due to popular demand".
Describing the tour, the band said "The Greatest Show on Earth" is "a dare, to ourselves as much as anyone, to try and have the best night of anybody's life". They promised "a bit of showman, a bit of shaman, a riot of colour, unreasonable guitar, bass and drums, and tunes you can hold onto".
Drummer Larry Mullen Jr. has been rehearsing with the group for the stadium run. He took a break from live shows after neck and back surgery in 2023 and sat out the Las Vegas Sphere residency. He rejoined U2 last month for two homecoming gigs in Dublin marking the band's 50th anniversary. The band will also play an intimate London gig for the BBC next week.
The 16th album, "Carnaval De Luz", is out on 13 November. It was produced by Jacknife Lee and has 12 songs. Two six-track EPs, "Days Of Ash" and "Easter Lily", came out earlier this year.
